Some of the future think will blow your mind

Liked the book in general. Still trying to figure out tho why I didn't love it because it's well done. The start of the book could be misleading.

A deep dive into the AI conversation of today

I enjoyed this title. It covers a lot of ground and explores many possible AI scenarios and outcomes. I purchased it based on Elon Musk's recommendation ;)

Great but second part is to scientific

First 50% of book makes it worth buying, absolutely good, but why in gods name change to such exaggerated scientific writing style in second part using 300 times 10^x and 10^y and comparisons nobody can grasp? It seems like another writer entirely. But the cause is absolutely worth it so, thank you for being part of the effort to make ai safe.

Thoughtful positive analysis

Tegmark walks us through a wide set of possible outcomes, and asks us what we want. He ranges through societal and technical options. I'm strongly biased towards light fiction when I'm not working, but I found this easy and interesting. I have a PhD in computer science, working on hardware supporting AI, and I found this informed. The tone is a positive call to action, but it's not preachy. I will recommend this to my friends.

I found Shapiro, the voice actor, clear and easy to listen to.

I certainly promote the ethical commission boards decision to implement International safety guidelines before technology becomes executive decision ready! We are the creators of this beauty and art! Let us as humans install the beauty within our biological existence so we can move toward homosentience.

I always listen to great works 2 or more times. Put it on, fasten your seatbelt and get ready for the future which has already arrived. It's up to us to flesh out the details and co-steer the course.

Important. Everyone should read this book.

Inspiring and appropriately cautionary. Clearly communicates the beautiful and risky possibilities of super intelligent AI. Includes consensus principles of AI safety research and stories about famous people. Loved it. I sincerely wish everyone would read this book.

Excellent book, works well as audio book

The prescience of this book is impressive. So many thought experiments working with the best data available has led me down interesting ways the world may develop given the emergence of a general intelligence. I will listen again and already bought a copy for a family member.

Amazing, riveting & timely... A must read

Wow! Max does it again! Takes Bostrum's AI discussions to a whole new level and I was captivated by the possibilities which are just around the corner... We indeed live in the best and worst of times...

Loved the Elon story... Truly love that human! Narration is great. Wake up and take care... I'm so glad to be in the here and now... Again, in a word... "WOW!"
