Amazing!

Lisa Kessler has picked an amazing voice to bring her books to life. I love it even more than when I first read it!

Great 2nd book

The narrator was SOOO much better this time around. She nailed it. I enjoyed everything about this book. Can't wait to hear more!

Better than the 1st book

Callie is the Muse of Epic Poetry in this 2nd book of the series. This one is better than the first in story line if you've read the 1st as the entire premise is now known to you. I also had more empathy with the main protagonists as well as the surrounding cast of characters. Good build up to the following books after a satisfying ending. You can see the "bad guys" changing strategy while the Guardians are building their defenses. Excellent series and growing...

Entertaining fun romance!

Narrator does a good job. I wasn’t a fan of her male voice, but still a good listening experience.

I love this series and Lisa Kessler's writing! I love the romance and the suspense! Legend of Love is the 2nd book in the Muse Chronicles, and although each book is about a different Muse and their Guardian, I think it's best to read the first book before this one or you will have some spoilers for the first in this book, and the first book is excellent as well, so no hardship there. The Muses are in danger because someone is out to kill them so they can't open a theater and inspire people to do great things, and to help out the Muses, each has a Guardian that will supposedly help them out, and each of these Guardians will have something special to help the Muses succeed. In this book, we get Callie's story, she is the Muse of Epic Poetry, which means she has the desire to be a bit of a daredevil. Callie also works as a psychiatrist on a military base, and that's where she meets Hunter. Hunter is a soldier that just had a mission where one of his fellow soldiers didn't make it back home, so he needs to get approval to return to service. Hunter and Callie feel an attraction towards each other, but Callie is hesitant because she has a bad experience from her past that affects her. Callie and Hunter are really sweet together and have some super hot moments and some swoon worthy moments, and I love how honest they are with each other; there's no games. Legend of Love is entertaining and I enjoyed the action, and I'm super excited to read the next book!

Callie is the Muse of Epic Poetry in this 2nd book. She’s a dare devil, but I thought she was a bit whiny not wanting to get involve with Hunter. I like Hunter, I like a man that knows what he like. He didn’t let fear stand in the way. I felt sad for Alicia. Overall I like this story. It's a good steamy romance paranormal novel. Looking forward to reading the next book. Audiobooks Unleashed gave me a free code for my honest review.

Callie is the Muse of Epic Poetry and the leader of the current muses reborn. Hunter is a Navy SEAL just trying to get back to his psych clearance so he can rescue the teammate that was captured on his last mission. But the gods have other plans for him. After meeting with Callie he starts hearing people's thoughts but only when those thoughts are about her. That won't help with his psych clearance. Hunter's thirst for adventure feeds Callie and her muse's soul. I liked how Lisa Kessler dealt with Hunter still being on active duty. I like the building tension in Legend of Love but the narration was still a bit jarring, especially with male voices - despite the narrator doing a great job of distinguishing characters' voices.
