College romance

This is a sweet and spicy college romance about Dani and Jake. Dani is a quiet introverted freshman. While having breakfast with her cousin she meets Jake, the popular quarterback. She and her roommate become great friends. The two of them also are friendly with Jake and his crew. There are great characters, action, drama and some suspense. This story was narrated beautifully by Wesley Lynch.

Southern Charm at its best!

This is a perfect college romance story with tons of southern charm. Personally, I am from the South, and this book felt like siding on your favorite pair of blue jeans. I was right at home with all the southern snarkiness and humor. Though this is a romance story, I felt like it was a bit coming of age kind of story too. So many memories of my time in college and learning to accept myself coincided with Dani's journey. Now, I will say if you are one of those individuals that do not appreciate a southern drawl, the narration might get on your nerves. I recommend listening to the sample. I personally think Wesley did a great job with the narration. It was fun sweet romance!

This book has completely felt like I went back to high school and all the feelings and emotions that heroine felt I could easily relate to as to the single parent situation and living with Grandma because I love my grandmother, the sweetest lady on the Earth
Five stars because I feel like this deserves it. This deserves so much more and I love Ellis to death! Wesley does this story justice and told this story perfectly!

The series I didn't know I needed

Learning to Love is book #1 in The Fearless series. Jake is a California playboy at Univ of Texas (Austin) and quarterback for the football team. Georgia is our curvy freshman heroine who catches Jake's eye. This is a new author for me and I was impressed how she combined humor, suspense, young love, and smexy times into one great story. The Fearless are the group of friends that are formed amongst them. I can't wait for more of this series. There is a trigger warning caution so make sure to check those out.

The narration was amazing. Wesley Lynch is a new narrator for me, but he voiced so many characters with ease. Very impressive. 5/5 stars!
