In the same years in which Virginia Woolf urged the students of Cambridge to obtain economic independence and a room of her own in order to write and make a craft of writing, the women of New Thought were publishing essays and journals were founded. They are the same years in which sheds new light on the mind and its power, and the women of the New Thought were, as their male colleagues, pioneered a new way of thinking and understanding the thought itself, mothers of a mind fruitful, creator of real and tangible conditions of well-being and freedom.
