Rediscovering Home and Love
This book, “Laying Down Roots,” is about Anika going home after a messy divorce. She wants her kids to know where they come from, but her ex is making it hard for them.
Anika bumps into Kade McAllister, who’s like family, and bam! They hit it off. Anika is crushing on Kade while they’re trying to keep her kids safe. She’s also battling depression and trying to fix up her farm, which includes taking care of a horse that’s been neglected. Their journey of healing and love is amazing, and the narrator really brings it to life. You gotta listen!
