An amazing book, being Latino so much I didn't know about our history. However, all should read this book as it is America's history and all our culture. This is a must read for all to gain a better understanding of Latins and their contributions to the growth of this country.

On the shoulders of giants
Latino Americans encompasses all Latin nations that contribute and are representative of these United States. It’s amazing how the struggle for racial equity continues!
I recommended this book to my brother and will most likely share it with my friends. Ray Suarez really captured the hero essence of the people who even when faced with discrimination stood up for what they believed and may made a more perfect union. The struggle is not over but the challenges will be faced bravely!

A must read! Latino Americans shares the ...
A must read! Latino Americans, shares the over 500 year history of contributions, crisis, war, prejudice and the complete interwoven fabric of what is currently a Latino American in the United States to the days of Spanish colonial conquest of the America's and its legacy. It was wonderful to learn about all the connections have to the United States 🇺🇸 from past to present day.

Very comprehensive history of Latinos in the US
Very informative. First half was a little bit hard to follow because it felt more like a textbook. Once it got to more recent history (last 150 years or so) is when it became more interesting for me.

Essential History and Enjoyable Listening
Fills in so many gaps in US History and makes sense of current debates about immigration. Suarez is a terrific narrator and compelling story teller. Definitely one of the best selections on Audible in this genre.

Captured the Latino American Experience well
Easy to listen to. Learned some new things. I will definitely encourage my 15 year old son to listen to this audio book. The author captured the dualism of being a Latino American very well.
