Love Frobose's Technique but I find it very repetitive

After listening to several of his books trying to increase my Spanish vocabulary, I have found that many of the words he uses: hablar, comer, bailar etc are used over and over again (especially hablar) regardless of the progress you've made in the books. It's really frustrating- he basically teaches that same lessons with the same words in different parts of his books, and in other books! There are actual excerpts copied into different books that are supposed to be at different levels in Spanish. I can't tell you how many times I have heard the spanish conjugation of we have, you have, I have and we speak, you speak, I speak! It makes me feel stuck, aren't the lessons supposed to get more difficult as you progress?? I find his technique and delivery very effective (much more effective than other audiobooks) and I will continue to purchase his books - I just wish he could have a more diverse and progressive approach.

From the vocab blasts to the varied Latin American accents, I really enjoyed this program. Very challenging and exciting.
Begins with different Spanish tenses in context and gives you a chance to practice, repeat, remember, and create original sentences.
Seems almost “too much” to digest at first, but then amazingly, with the memory technique and the explanations, I’m picking it up fast. And I’m speaking it and understanding it too.
Note: This program has improved my Spanish and increased my fluency faster than anything I have yet tried. Great really.

Love the Challenging Method

Would you listen to Language Guy's Spanish Basics Intermediate Level - 5 One Hour Audio CDs [English and Spanish Edition] again? Why?

I love Mark Frobose’s challenging method and I don’t find it overly repetitive at all. On the contrary, I love to hone my fluency skills until I get the concept down and can use it effectively in a Spanish conversation with a native. I think learning a language for real fluency is sort of like training for the Olympics. The wannabes are left behind because the real champions actually PRACTICE harder than they do. Frobose insists on excellence and he builds that excellence into all of his programs. No two programs are alike. They all share commonalities like high frequency language, but they’re all distinct and highly creative. I especially like Language Guy’s Spanish Basic Intermediate Level because it is to intense and has taught me to speak Spanish so well.

Super annoying

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

A robotic voice keeps saying, in English, "please repeat." I lasted 10 minutes.

What was most disappointing about Mark Frobose’s story?

The best language instruction I've found is on Audible Channels but there aren't enough levels in Spanish.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Mark Frobose?

Don't waste your money.
