Paru pour la première fois en 1985, La Servante écarlate s'est vendu à des millions d'exemplaires à travers le monde. Devenu un classique de la littérature anglophone, ce roman, qui n'est pas sans évoquer le 1984 de George Orwell, décrit un quotidien glaçant qui n'a jamais semblé aussi proche, nous rappelant combien nos libertés sont fragiles. La série adaptée de ce chef-d'œuvre de Margaret Atwood, diffusée sous le titre original "The Handmaid's Tale", avec Elisabeth Moss dans le rôle principal, a été unanimement saluée par la critique.

La dernière ligne du classique moderne de Margaret Atwood, La servante écarlate, taquine et laisse les fans perplexes depuis la sortie originale du livre il y a plus de 30 ans. Aujourd'hui, dans cette production d'Audible Studios, les auditeurs obtiennent enfin des réponses tant attendues. Avec une toute nouvelle interview du professeur Piexoto, écrite par Atwood et interprétée par plusieurs comédiens, cette version de La servante écarlate est un must pour les fans et les nouveaux auditeurs. La performance de Louise Bourgoin est des plus émouvantes, donnant vie à ce classique de littérature dystopique où le message (et la mise en garde) est aujourd'hui plus actuel que jamais.

Il est imposibile d’écouter ce livre dans la rue ou dans un endroit bruyant
L’actrice parle trop fort ou trop faible. Parfois c’est imposibile d’entendre des entières partis de la phase. Pour quelqu’un qui apprend le français c’est très ennuyeux.
