L'autrice: Nata a Cagliari nel 1967, Clelia Farris si è laureata in psicologia con una tesi di epistemologia. Molto apprezzata sia dai lettori che dagli esperti del genere, è considerata una delle migliori autrici di fantascienza italiana.
Ha vinto il premio Fantascienza.com con Rupes Recta, il premio Odissea con Nessun uomo è mio fratello e il premio Kipple con La pesatura dell'anima, ambientato in un Egitto ucronico. Nel 2012 ha pubblicato La giustizia di Iside, ispirato allo stesso Egitto futuristico de La pesatura dell'anima. Nel 2015 ha pubblicato il racconto Chirurgia creativa, inserito nell’antologia Storie dal domani 2. Finalista al premio Urania Mondadori 2016 con Uomini e Necro, alcuni suoi racconti sono stati pubblicati sulle migliori riviste di genere italiane e internazionali come Robot, Fantasy Magazine e Strange Horizons/Samovar.
