“Class, I have very exciting news!” Miss Butterfly announced to her classroom full of rambunctious students. Her words brought silence to the room as everyone sat on the edges of their seats waiting to hear the news. “Next week we are going on a field trip!” The room grew silent as the students held their breath in anticipation.
Miss Butterfly turned to write on the chalkboard. Using big, sweeping letters, she wrote where they were going. The whole class burst out in more cheers. The whole class except for Benny Badger. His heart was pounding a mile a minute. He thought, There’s no way I can do that!
