Entertaining

I enjoyed this story! It was a fun read that kept me entertained from beginning to end. I really enjoyed the characters and the way that the relationship developed. I loved the storyline in this one as well. I loved the mystery/suspense part of this as they tried to figure out the case and catch the serial killer. Deacon and Tyra are both good at what they do and for the most part come at things a little different but both take the cases personally. They are determined to figure out who committed the horrific murders of the young women. Tyra is a headstrong woman and she is determined that she can do this and doesn't really know how to back down. Deacon is draw to her and quickly begins pushing Tyra in a few ways, both personally and professionally as he can see how smart and capable she is. He is a dominant personality. I wanted to see how they were going to work things out and put the case together to find the killer.
This is narrated by virtual voice and it wasn't horrible as the voice isn't robotic but it doesn't have the inflections added to it that reflect the emotions/actions happening in the story. It also fluctuates between pronouncing words and names correcting and incorrectly which was slightly irritating and did throw me off a little bit. It is from a "male" voice throughout and again it wasn't bad and it did allow me to listen to the story.
