Acerca de esta escucha
When 20-year-old Elianas father orders her to court, it is with one purpose: to save their noble, destitute family through marriage to a wealthy suitor. Eliana would much rather be studying healing and making use of her rare magical talent for medicines, but there is no escaping his command. She has eight short weeks to find a match she can stomach, or else shell be married off to the cruel, despicable man of her father's choosing.
Navigating court politics is difficult for nervous Eliana, who is determined to take up as little space as possible. Worst of all, she only has eyes for the Queens nephew, Corin: a brooding, rugged knight who is already betrothed to another. Though he returns Eliana's feelings, hes as trapped by duty as she is. But even as Corin struggles against his own family's shackles, he is driven by a singular purpose: to rid the land of the bandits terrorizing the Queen's people.
As the outlaws circle the capital city, Corin and Eliana turn their focus and their talents towards helping the vulnerable common folk who live outside the palace walls. But the bandits have a patron who aims to spread dissent amongst the crumbling ranks of the nobility. The more lives Corin and Eliana save, the more enemies they are both making and the closer her fathers deadline draws.

Standalone
This is second in the series, but it is perfect as a standalone. I didn’t have any trouble catching up with characters and am off to buy the first book.

Loved it.
I absolutely love this book. The shy healer who finds herself in love with a knight who seems cold hearted. Corin who was betrothed to another also fines himself falling for the healer. Torn between duty and love, he refuses give up that which he wants the most as time goes on.

It was good
3.5 ★ Having loved and enjoyed the first book in the series, I was so excited to listen to this one. The writing, story, and narrator's performance were all excellent. However, I couldn’t give this a solid four stars because of Eliana. I kept waiting for her character to develop like Corin's did, and every time it felt like she was growing, she seemed to take two steps back.
There’s definitely an untold story here, and it most likely connects directly to another installment. If there’s a third book, I’ll definitely be picking it up.

Great Slow Burn Romance
This was such a great book. It read like a movie. I just fell in love with Corin and Eliana. I enjoyed the first book as well, but this one was so much better. Caruso had a way of bringing me into the story. It was almost like Romeo and Juliet without the tragic ending. I listened to the audio version of the story and narrator Carol Beth Anderson was fantastic. I loved her voice. This was definitely a slow burn to lovers and very entertaining. Highly recommend.

A Romantic Fantasy
I was entertained by this second book in the series. I liked the political maneuvering behind the scenes as Eliana worked to become adjusted to life at court. I thought Corin was everything that made a great male fantasy figure: strong, built, and brooding. I enjoyed Eliana's and Corin's relationship as they worked together to save people's lives. There were some steamy descriptions. I thought Carol Beth Anderson's narration was great, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Tender romance and high-stakes intrigue!
Knight’s Oath swept me away with its blend of tender romance and high-stakes intrigue! Eliana’s journey from a timid noblewoman to a courageous healer was heartwarming, and her chemistry with Corin crackled with forbidden tension. Juliette Caruso's captivating world, brought to life by Carol Beth Anderson's enchanting narration, left me eager for more!

Slow burn romance fantasy - by Shana W
I enjoyed this audiobook much more than the first book in the series. I felt it was a little too long, and there were some things that could have been cut to shorten it. However, I really liked the main characters in this book, and I even found that Rachiele and Telon from the first book redeemed themselves here. I thought that Eliana and Corin were very real, relatable, and likable characters from the beginning. Eliana has healing magic and she is a kind and caring woman who is stuck in the difficult position of finding an acceptable husband at court. Corin is a very complex character; he comes off as a bit of a rugged uncouth fellow who really doesn't care what he looks like. But as we learn more about him and his family, my perception changed. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but suffice it to say that he has a good heart and he is perfect for Eliana. Although it is a slow burn romance, these two characters are attracted to each other from the moment they meet. They go through adventure and danger together after they have become good friends, and we see their relationship evolve. I liked the friendships between Eliana and Rachiele, and Corin and Telon. Altogether, this is a fun read.
I particularly enjoyed Carol Beth Anderson's narration of the story. She had good pacing and expression, and she made the story come to life.
I received an audiobook copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Cozy fantasy romance
Friends, I may have found my new comfort series of standalones- this cozy fantasy romance series by Juliette Caruso absolutely stole my heart. I was unsure how the Knight’s Oath could meet the bar set so high from the first book in the Knight’s of Enar series, The Knight’s Bride - but somehow, it was equally as enchanting 💕
What I loved most about The Knight’s Oath was that it included tropes that were not my typical go-to’s. I am not generally a lover of quiet and reserved FMCs, but Eliana demonstrates that you don’t always have to be loud and outspoken to show strength. Generally, I am not a fan of the friends-to-lovers trope, but it was actually really beautiful to watch Eliana and Corin’s friendship blossom to a true kind of love. Forbidden romance, though it can be heart achingly beautiful) has also been overdone since Romeo and Juliet. And I will be honest, at times, I absolutely wanted to kit Corin on the side of the head. But the end result was well worth it! Juliette Caruso has a certain way of creating great angst, alongside some humour and character development. Also, Carol Beth Anderson does a fantastic job at narrating!
Thank you so much to the author for the advanced listener copy.

A good love story
Honestly I was glad to hear a story about the friend from book 1. It was amusing seeing how the couple developed over the course of the story as well.
