Endlich Opa! Kommissar Kluftinger ist immer noch ganz hin und weg, dass ihn Sohn Markus und Schwiegertochter Yumiko zum Großvater gemacht haben. Die Freude über das neue Leben wird jedoch schnell getrübt: Beim Kirchgang mit der Familie entdeckt Kluftinger auf dem Friedhof eine Menschentraube, die ein frisch aufgehäuftes Grab umringt. Darauf ein Holzkreuz - mit seinem Namen. Nach außen hin bleibt Kluftinger gelassen. Als jedoch eine Todesanzeige für Kluftinger in der Regionalzeitung auftaucht, sind auch die Kollegen alarmiert.
Um dem Täter zuvorzukommen, muss Kluftinger tief in seine eigene Vergangenheit eintauchen. Je mehr er herausfindet, desto klarer wird ihm, dass ein Maulwurf in den eigenen Reihen seine Ermittlungen erschwert. Und die Zeit ist knapp, denn alles deutet darauf hin, dass Kluftingers angekündigter Tod unmittelbar bevorsteht...

Spannend und lustig!
Mir gefallen die in den Kluftiger-Romanen beschriebenen Charaktere sehr. Ich hoffe, es gibt noch etliche Kluftinger-Geschichten. Insbesondere die Weihachtsgeschichte ist einmalig und steht bei mir im Dezember mehr als einmal auf dem Hör-Programm.

Needs severe editing, weak ending to drag story into the next book. insulting to the reader!!!
Has some of the cuteness of prior stories, but in general way too long and is mostly a prequel for the next book. This book needs severe editing to cut it in half.
plot lines are boring and insulting to the reader. Example the grand child's name and gender are not revealed in this book, but dragged through with a boring suspense. The main story line is left unfinished to be dragged into the next book.
Dialog is dragged out long, overly detailed and boring. Example buying a used car. Kluftinger looks like an idiot, and it adds nothing to the plot. but goes on and on for pages and pages.
This book is a collection of miscellaneous ideas from the rubbish bin with a huge amount of mind numbing filler.
The Kluftinger series has run out of ideas and is trying desperately to string along readers, but instead has insulted their audience by serving a very weak novel.
just skip it!!!
