Doch das ist nicht alles:
Im Freudentaumel fällt Julia genau dem Mann neben sich in die muskulösen Arme, mit dem sie schon den ganzen Abend innige Blicke ausgetauscht hat. Der Unbekannte heißt Roman Parker und ist ein Berg von einem Mann. Seine grünen Augen und der viele Sekt lassen Julia den Kuss erwidern und die beiden erleben eine atemberaubende Nacht miteinander.
Alles scheint perfekt. Roman Parker lebt ebenfalls in New York, ist schwerreich, Chef einer Sicherheitsfirma und macht Julia wenig später einen Heiratsantrag.
Am Tag der Verlobungsfeier kommt es jedoch knüppeldick:
Julias Tage bleiben aus und ihr Arzt teilt ihr mit, dass es im Labor eine Verwechslung gegeben hat. Zudem will ihr Ex unbedingt mit ihr reden und lässt nicht locker.
Doch das ist noch nicht alles: Kurz darauf steht Roman Parker vor ihrer Tür. In seiner Hand hält er jedoch keine Rosen, sondern einen Haftbefehl.
Wird Roman ihr glauben, dass Julia nichts damit zu tun hat? Und was wird er sagen, wenn er von dem gemeinsamen Kind erfährt?
