A fable of the quest for Utopia

While this short novel relies upon science fiction to stage the narrative, it is really a series of parables that forces the reader to reexamine his/her position on tradition, culture, appropriation, and the transfer of knowledge between societies. Mike Resnick's novella is particularly appropriate for today's sometimes heated discussions about cultural appropriation and how we as a species define progress.

No me gustó

Esperaba ciencia ficción, quizás distopia. Pero encontré una historia que no sorprende, repetitiva al infinito. Contada en primera persona con un personaje absolutamente detestable. Si bien está bien narrada, a mi gusto, la historia no vale el esfuerzo. Ojalá a otros le guste, no es mi caso
