With Parthia now establishing a stronger foothold in Armenia and while the Kingdom is fracturing from the inside, Prince Tigran is forced back to Parthia, only this time as a political hostage. Tackling one tragedy after another, Tigran finds himself facing a very different life, with new challenges, in a foreign land where life is cheap and intrigue and treachery reign.
His friends’ lives are forever changed as well, on the run now from the only place they ever called home, even as a new rising threat arrives at the Capital. Tigran’s father, the new king of Armenia, finds out that ruling is not as easy when there’s no one left to blame, and all the kingdoms' problems become his own.
As Tigran and his friends confront the drastic changes in their lives, will it be left up to a eunuch servant and a barbarian tribesman to step in and help save their divided kingdom?
Kingdom Armenia is a new character-driven, ancient historical-fiction series focusing on the times of ancient Armenia as a Kingship. This first volume in the series, Rise of Tigran the Great, will center on Prince Tigran and his friends, allies and enemies in earlier years.
