I enjoyed this book. I would consider this book to be a NA romantacy. Jasmine is fighting to be the top Keeper. She has been in competition with Asher for the top spot. Then one day Asher has to leave the Keeper program with no explanation. Jasmine has been chosen to become a temporary Keeper for a Starring student that needs protection. That student is Asher. He was born Starring and had chosen to be go into the Keeper program unit the tragic assassination of his entire family. There is forced proximity with a slight hint of enemies to lovers. Avery Caris did a fantastic job narrating with this book.

Keeper of Scarlet Petals by A.N. Skye is a fantasy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Avery Caris. This is the first book in the Keeper of Scarlet Petals series.

This is the first book of A.N. Skye's that I have read, and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see how everything would play out. I am really enjoying the relationship building between Asher and Jasmine. I can't wait to see how it will progress over the course of the series.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book to be announced.

Avery did an amazing job on the narration. She really knows how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a fantasy romance.

I knew that writing this review would be hard. Not because I didn't like it, I loved it in fact! But writing about it just can't encompass all my feelings... Keeper of Scarlet Petals actually is one of my favorite books read this year. Favorite fantasy, and even Favorite romance too. As Jasmine and Asher discover how each other's magic works. She discovers how to keep Asher alive through all the multiple attempts on his life... and how her magic only works in tandem with his.
Ohhhh and yeah it turns out that Avery Caris is a CrackerJack of a narrator.
Anyway just grab the book and enjoy!!!
