What happened? Twenty previous invasion expeditions had failed, with no word as to what could have happened back to the home world of Gorm. But this, the 21st, THIS was going to succeed. The Gorm were an extremely amorphous race.
Their Shape was assigned to them just after birth and was dependent upon the caste they were born in to. Many of the lower castes resented being forced to maintain a Shape they KNEW wasn’t right for them, but, such was life on Gorm. Now, with resources and livable area dwindling dangerously low, the Gorm set out to conquer new worlds to inhabit. But Earth, well, Earth was proving to be much harder then the many worlds before it. Twenty expeditions had failed. But this one would succeed!
