I generally don't listen to. Books a second time. But if I had to select one I would listen to this again.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The family relationship did keep me needing to listen just a few more minutes.

Ryan, I would want to know what other things he had been hiding for his family and how it affected him.

Very good book. The family relationships were very realistic.

I like the character of Jake. predictable story line. only finished because of bookclub pick.

Very good

This is my first book by this author. I really was pleasantly surprised. This was easy to listen to. The narration and story caught my attention and kept it all the way though. There are some nice twists but the characters are what keep you listening it isn't a nail biting suspense. I will definitely be on the look out for more by this author.

I DON'T THINK SO. IT WAS A VERY GOOD BOOK AND VERY ENTERTAINING BUT THE WAY THE AUTHOR WOUND THINGS UP WAS JUST TOO MUCH. VERY IMPROBABLE. WHY SHE RUINED A VERY GOOD BOOK WITH A LOUSEY ENDING IS BEYOND ME.

IT WAS A DOWNER. IT COULD HAVE BEEN ENDED IN A WAY THAT WASN'T LIKE A LIFETIME MELODRAMA.

I LIKED THE MAIN CHARACTER'S FAMILY MEMBERS BUT I THINK RYAN WAS OVERDONE A LITTLE. STILL I LIKED THE READING.

I GUESS RYAN. HE WAS LIKABLE.

WHEN AUTHORS HAVE WHAT I CALL A LIFETIME MELODRAMA ENDING IT RUINS A PERFECTLY GREAT BOOK. BUT I WAS ENTERTAINED UNTIL THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS SO I WON'T SAY I WAS CHEATED. I WILL PROBABLY NOT READ IT AGAIN. IT IS A MESSAGE TO PEOPLE THO. OBEY THE LAW. THERE ARE REASONS FOR LAWS.

Never a dull moment! The narrator did an awesome job! The story kept my interest the whole time. Get it!

Lisa Scottoline has that amazing gift of putting you right into the story and keeping you on the edge of your seat. Highly recommend this read!!

Very Good

LS always has a way of introducing great twists. I did figure out the ending before it happened, but couldn’t be sure so it was still a great ride! Ron Livingston does an excellent job narrating!
