Not what I was expecting, but…
A fair and balanced perspective but I was hoping for a more meaty read. Definitely felt factual, historical and balanced, it was a challenging listen with all the names and dates presented in a very textbook manner. It built to an interesting enough read considering it is now right before a hopefully historical and monumental election.

A balanced presentation of Kamala Harris' life and politics. I feel like I understand her and am able to form a more informed decision about her as a candidate after reading this book . That said, it very dry and gets boring in spots. Overall, a decent read.
