Cute story

The writing was relatable and there were some funny parts. I think it had some unique elements to it but the ways that it mimicked other similar stories (without giving away spoilers) was disappointing. Also, I don’t think the H and h were properly matched. The H wayyy > than the h.

Also, some mentioned their being spice, which, I guess I missed?

Overall 3.5 out of 5.

Good performance

Storyline is OK, not sure I would keep taking her back after being hurt so many times.

The story was too long

I didn’t really like this one. The story was too long and torturous. I liked the voice of the female reader and thought she did a good job. The male reader was kind of goofy and hard to listen to at times.

So much fun!

A great second (and third, and fourth, and fifth) chance romance between high school sweethearts. Funny and romantic, with enjoyable narration.

Sexy & Perfect

A wonderful heartfelt romcom with the perfect amount of spice…and all things nice! Would read/listen to it again and again. This broke my book slump.

Repetitive

Hard to wade through 20 years of longing, when it wasn’t clear that they really did have a connection. The end didn’t feel authentic. Story didn’t feel authentic. Man was one dimensional, as was the female lead.

Realistic Rom Com

LOVED!!!! Very realistic Rom Com. Enjoyed the audio. The story line was good and flowed well.

Into the grey

I begun dreading writing this review about halfway through. I’m not sure there’s anything I can write here that accurately describe how much I enjoyed this. As an elder millennial, it is absolutely cringe to read books trying to embody the elder millennial range of emotions. This story crushed me and gave me hope for love in the same binding. The golden retriever trope typically gives me the heebs in compatibility with the black cat trope. Unlike the average male main character, Seth gave me hope for men.. something that is extremely difficult if not possible in my sphere. As we approached the end of the story, I became a puddle realizing how hard the sentiment from my own therapy came true. Things don’t have to be black and white, they can be grey. The grey space can be our friends or enemies or both.
