I have this book 5 stars because I trust Matthew McConaughey's words of advice. He's more than just a movie star, He's someone who cares.

Realness

This book was real, things we know already but didn’t think about. No matter what age group this was intended for it really hits home. In my life currently this was an eye opener! It made sense! It helped! I really love the realness!!!!!

Existential Thought intro

I’m a mental health professional. Been Working in the schools with Native American youth since 2004.
I shall share copies of this book with students, and play the audiobook performed by Mr. Matthew M himself. That way we can read along, with him and hear his artistic rhythms. Very grateful, and blessings up!

Makes you think!

This is a short sweet book. It rings true and makes you think. I think this would be a great book to read to the little ones and a great book for young adults to read. With all of the negativity in our world right now, this book is refreshing!

Simplicity and profundity.

Simple words with deep meanings hit hard, “just because” opens the mind to more perspectives that are right in front of us. It means so much more too when Matthew McConaughey reads it, that bit of extra feeling and tone is such a gift.

Must need no matter what age

Loved this & def something that needed to accidentally fall into my lap right now! Makes you open your eyes of possibilities & how something may seem, isn’t always how it really is.

Wish it was more of a book instead of an essay. There is potential to break down his tidbits of information into something that has more depth.
