Good Start

This was a good start to the spin off series and a nice revisit to some familiar characters. narration was done well.

Beware if you are an Adoptee

This is a cute story its fun and flirty until you find out the LMC is adopted and its not handled with any sort of care, authenticity, or truth. From name changes to adopted dad “Knocking up Birthmom” as a joke because he looks like a-dad, to calling birthmom
A crack head, and lucky adoptee trope abounds. Its clear this author didn't do any research about adoption truama from an adoptee’s perspective. It just feels like it was unnecessary and handeled with absolutely no care or awareness.

Chandler is adorable

Chandler is adorable, and having Stephen Dexter narrate Chandler was the reason I picked this book. I liked that the story was different than others: Chandler saw Amelia and knew she was the one. He fought for her and supported her through her healing. Amelia was understandably damaged and was giving herself time and space to heal. Chandler pushed a little but not too hard, and i appreciated that dynamic. I did not enjoy Amelia's narration, though. The narrator spoke too fast, sometimes frantically when it wasn't necessary, and I didn't feel the chemistry between the characters from the female narration.

It was a sweet story and I liked that sports were incorporated into it. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Pretty good

I’m a little tired of the best friend’s sister being forbidden trope.

Possible spoilers

While it wasn’t overly done in this book, I find it hard to believe that so many people would say their sister’s are off limits to their friends. In my opinion, i would think they’d rather have their sister date someone that they trust enough to be considered their friend than some stranger who ends up treating them badly.
Also, I know the MFC went through some rough stuff and had a hard time trusting, but I found her character a little annoying and irrational at times.
One of the side characters annoyed me a little by how she was toying around with another side character without thinking about his feelings. Not sure if it was being set up for another story, but I didn’t like it.

Chandler !!!!

Chandler!!! Am in love with chandler!!! His voice was amazing. We all need a chandler in our life. Story line was great . Good book

So good

I know this will be hard to believe, but this is the first book I have read by Toni Aleo. I thought this was a good opportunity to make a start since it is book one in her new series IceCats. This is Chandler Moon and Amelia Justice’s story.

A second chance at love story which captured my attention from the first chapter. I thoroughly enjoyed Toni Aleo’s style of writing and Juicy Rebound was a joy to read.

Amelia is the one who got away and yet now she has returned, a broken, disillusioned woman, she also happens to be the sister of Ryan Justice, Chandler’s best friend and therefore should be off limits to Chandler. However………..

Chandler is so swoon worthy that he just about melted my heart at times. Amelia has been through more than she should have had to endure and yet she is so much stronger for it. All the characters were well developed and easy to relate too.

This was an entertaining story that I thoroughly enjoyed and I will be looking to read more books from Toni Aleo as and when time permits. I cannot wait to read more in this series.

Stephen Dexter and Tanya Eby did a fabulous job bringing this fabulous story to life.

This is a very enjoyable and sweet story. Definitely worth reading/listening to. Great narration.

Cute

This book was really sweet and different from your standard romance. I’ve been getting kinda sick of your standard girl and boy gets together has a misunderstanding and then they get back together.
This book just dealt with the issues and moved on. It was refreshing and cute.
My only complaint was that the narrators didn’t match up.
The female talked too fast and desperate and the male was chill. But separately I liked them.

Very fun to listen too. I love that it wasn't too easy for the characters to get to the happy ending.
