A two-time Academy Award-winning director and animator, John Lasseter is a founding member of and the creative force behind Pixar Animation Studios. Lasseter began his career in animation at Walt Disney Feature Animation, where he soon became fascinated by the potential for creating animation using computer-generated images. A true modern day master

I think in 200 years people may talk about the great artists like Rembrandt Da Vinci and Lasseter. And deserved. Enough said

Fun biography of an industry icon

An inspirational read! This was a fun short biographical overview, I loved hearing about all of the important moments in John Lasseter's career and the quotes about his passion for storytelling and his respect for the medium and the people that came before him. I thought the narrator did a great job, his performance was energetic and some of the voices he did were funny but entertaining, and I thought fit Mr. Lasseter quite well, actually. Haha! I was interested in finding out what had happened and who was left permanently disabled during the rushed remake of Toy Story 2 but couldn't find any mention of that on the internet. I also wanted to mention that this was such a positive overview of Lasseter as a person that you would almost think it was written by the man himself. That aspect didn't take away from the enjoyment of the story and I was sad when it was over. I will be revisiting this biography, it was fun, inspirational, entertaining and informative.

Who picks these voices????

The voice for this book is terrible... specially when he reads quotes from the different characters. Horrible.....
