With the name Holliday, you’d think I’d be all about the Christmas season. Most years, I am, but this one not so much. Between my ex being a real Scrooge-in-the-backside, re-entering the workforce, wrangling my two children, and evading my eight-year-old’s questions about Santa’s existence, I’m struggling to believe in the magic myself.

Sweet second chance romance
“My heart isn’t the brightest; it doesn’t always read the push and pull signs on doors.”
Jasmine hasn’t gotten any smarter since high school, when she dumped him before he could dump her, but at least she’s more self aware. Famous people/athlete romance isn’t my favorite, ditto for second chance romance, so take my ratings with a grain of salt. I found this sweet and charming, but rather tame for a story willing to drop the F bomb.
“Stop saying groin!”
The humor and family Kringle squabbling was fun, but not quite at the level of book 1.
Still, I give props to these three authors for managing to match each other’s tone pretty well.
All novellas of the Kringle family siblings are on Audible, but weirdly aren’t all under the series moniker. Maybe because three different authors and six different narrators delivered them?
It’s worth the effort to search by title/author, because these are great holiday pick-me-ups.
1. The Grump Who Stole Christmas by S. Doyle, narrated by Kit Swann, Patrick Zeller-
Kristen Kringle and Paul “Bunyan” for a killer HEA.
2. Very Merry Married by Molly O’Keefe, narrated by Angelina Rocca, Oscar Reyes-
Mayoral candidate Ethan Kringle and showgirl Lexie’s chemistry doesn’t stay in Vegas.
3. Jingle Bell Beard by Julie , narrated by Stella Hunter, Christian Fox-
Matt Kringle and PR girl Jasmine get a picture perfect second chance.

Cute Xmas Story. I enjoyed Matt and Jasmines 2nd chance at Love. HS sweethearts but letting one go so they can reach their potential. Coming back years later and reconnecting when Matt's Family's Inn needed help. I liked the fact that the 3 Kringle Kids found love in different ways over the same time while all of them tried to help their dad. Their wasnt as much spice in this story but all of them were short stories so it was reason enough. Glad everyone got their HEA, would have been nice to have a last Epilogue 1- 5 years later showing how their lives ended up. ie: Married, kids, etc.
