Entertaining and educational

Jim keeps you engaged and gives priceless info on how to beat the market. His no non sense approach will limit your mistakes and increase your return on investment. Listen often.

The surprisingly might be the best finance book I've ever read

I was blown away by the practical advice in this book I really recommend it for anyone who is a novice or even an event trader

Great book but quite heavy

Lots of great information in this book, but probably not a lot that you will use unless you really want to get deep into the market.

Mad Money goes even deeper if you really want to get into trading rather than investing.

If you want a more passive approach to investing then read Rule #1.

A Good foundation

This book is a step beyond a beginners guide. Jim does a good job of explaining why you should be active with your investments and how to do that, once you understand financial speak.

not his best

had to release another book shortly after this because everyone who took his advice got killed in the financial crisis of 2008

Great basics

Mr. Cramer definitely has an engaging delivery though it can wear on you after awhile. He has some great ideas and advice. He's not modest though if he's done everything he says he has, I don't really care. He shares valuable insights from someone with Wall Street experience telling you what happens on the inside. He makes succint points with examples to reinforce them. His book is good for the new investor trying to decide how to start playing the stock market. It's worth reading.

Very hard to listen to but good information

Very hard to listen to but good information. The author/ narrator has a very "unique " voice tha made it difficult to listen to. Great information though.

learning to invest

book was okay from my perspective. some good examples and advice but still walked away not fully understanding. Maybe I need it more simpler 😪

Presented some great ideas.

This is a good book to get you fired up about investing, but it constantly emphasizes the need for prudence and diligent homework while evaluating prospective stocks. I thought the narration from Mr. Kramer sounded a bit odd, like he was reading a book written by someone else. The reference charts and diagrams that he refers to would be great, but audible doesn't yet include these, so it is a little harder to follow in this format.

if you want the rules and not the story

Jim made a great book here most of the information in here is nothing but rules and regulations guidelines tips and suggestions. if you're looking to invest in stocks and you don't want to hear about someone's story on how they won and lost and won and lost this is a great book for you he does tell you however a few times where he lost in a few times where he won big but the majority of this book expecially after chapter one is all rules do's and don'ts of investing in this insane Market
