Jack London was born a working class, fatherless Californian in 1876. In his youth, he was a boundlessly energetic adventurer on the bustling West Coast - an oyster pirate, a hobo, a sailor, and a prospector by turns. I very much enjoyed this book. What an interesting yet sometimes dangerous life Jack London led!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Author and performance does a great job of telling the story and embedding Jack London’s life in history.

Glad I chose this

Glad I chose this this thorough biography of the great writer. I felt Mr Prichard's reading was like a radio commentator's. though a bit boring ar times, it was appropriate to the subject matter and did not keep me from listening to the whole book.
