Marxism's sinister and dark agenda has led the country into what some have called a cold civil war. The problem has become systemic, a tragedy considering that the defeat of Marxist-communist ideology was the very cause against which our nation spent great treasures of blood and iron during much of the 20th century.

The book's three-part framework begins with a discussion of the greatness of the American ideal (including the importance of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the notions of individual and civil liberties), transitions to an examination of the history and overarching narrative of Marxist ideology (specifically Marx's and Engels' Communist Manifesto wherein the oppressor vs. oppressed narrative is developed), and concludes by looking into the ongoing transformation of America's military culture and military policy, while also providing a warning about where the country is headed if we choose to not make an immediate course correction.

Irresistible Revolution also covers a breadth of hot topics everyone is hearing and talking about - topics that actually have implications for our national security: woke ideology, cancel culture, identity politics, the Black Lives Matter movement, anti-racism, postmodernism, political correctness, and critical and cynical theories, to include critical race theory. Lohmeier's penetrating and common sense look at current events within our military and across American society is a sublimely unique contribution that is certain to be shared, referenced, and discussed for years to come. Captain Lohmeier brings us a sobering look at the history of Marxism, and how it’s making a comeback. If you want to be given a look at what’s coming if things don’t turn around quick, you owe it to yourself to get a hold of this!

Required reading

We can only hope the "Experiment" is not a lost cause. "A Republic if You Can keep it." Matthew has exposed the "dark side" that is becoming the leadership of our military. The 'ship' of state must be re-coursed or all will be lost. The you for your service.

Must read for members of the military

As an officer in the Army, I share many of the concerns outlined and described by Lohmeier. His overview of communist ideology and the current movement to deconstruct the institution of the military is invaluable for service members wrestling with these questions.

Could have been longer and provided more detail. Like did he get kicked out of military or what?

Troubling and enlightening…a call to action and awareness

Matt is well read and sincere. He has done his research and puts forth some troubling discoveries.
the book seemed to lack much of a conclusive ending, or perhaps I’m too used to the Hollywood “happily ever after”

The author shares his understanding and knowledge of the woke and Marxist movement currently plaguing the United States and how it has seeped into the US military. It is an effective summary of the situation. At the end, and even throughout, he offers helpful advice to the reader.
