... a nice supplement to this book would be a workbook for the spreadsheet analysis presented ... but again there may already exist specialized software somewhere in the market today ...

Educational but Redundant

This book is a wonderful way to build one background knowledge about investment banking and about investing. I was a little bit annoyed at how redundant the chapters were. Perhaps that way by design, because these types of Dummy books are not meant to be read from cover to cover.

Overall, I'm glad I read it. I feel more knowledgeable for sure.

The case study towards one of the latter chapters is very helpful. The history of investment banking was interesting and the history of the classic estimate will make a great conversation.

Comprehensive content well read

Good cover of the topics, sufficient for any person interested in IB.

Helped supplement my CFA curriculum

I was looking for something to listen to to give additional color to my CFA readings. It was actually really useful to combine these resources. The only problem with the audio version is the reader would read out the entire link to websites (says "h-t-t-p-colon-slash-slash-w-w-w-dot"). Meanwhile I think every knows how to get to Google finance without the description
