There are two basic modes of operation for a human being. The first is predominantly thought based. The second is predominantly feeling based. Those in the thought-based mode navigate through life in response to their conscious-mind reasoning. Then there are those people who navigate through life in response to their gut instincts. Whereas thinkers try to understand things cognitively and make decisions intellectually, feelers just know things viscerally and make decisions instinctively. In the first way, sometimes things work out and sometimes not. In the second way, things always work out for the overall best, whether or not the result was planned or sought.
