Loved it!
Great listen! Just finished and already miss the characters. And the gorgeous voice of the skilled narrator Dami Okukoya. I am tempted to just restart it. Please please let there be a sequel.

Mike has done it again!
This book is spectacular and so very far reaching. This is definitely not a typical book about AI. The author considers ALL of the possibilities, and it is so wonderful to go along with him in this journey. I honestly cannot wait for the follow up book.
The performance is about 80% perfect. I just felt that some of the voices of the bureaucrats in the pandemonium were a little hokey, and kind of took me out of the story every once in a while. But this was a very small detriment, in an otherwise incredible story.

This Author Never Disappoints
Just wow...I can't wait for the next book in this series. MR Carey creates such vivid worlds with unforgettable characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the narrator as well. possibly the best performance I've listened to this year.

Felt like a Prologue without a story.
The narrator never entered the story. This is lead up to whatever happens next. It was difficult to connect to any of the characters and dive into the plot.

Just Wow.
There are a few writers out there that will tackle something of this scope and originality. And the narration was absolutely perfect. Congratulations to everyone associated with this book--author, editors, narrator and publisher.

Fabulous Story!
This was such a fun story! I’ve read and watched a lot of sci fi. But this approached the multiverse in a totally new way. Fabulous!

Wow
I love creative, deeply layered, original science fiction…like Isaac Asimov in the 70’s when I discovered him. I read the girl with all the gifts not knowing it was about zombies. I loved it despite myself. This is so much better, Fantastic writing and perspective…love his treatment of multiverse. Truly delivers.
