Not expecting this
“Spectrumy, fearsome, and sexy.” This description of the goddess is accurate to this story. What a fun, intelligent, romantic, silly, deep, relatable tale. Not for the close-minded. I will definitely listen to more of this podcast.

Enh... It was alright
The performance was good, but the whole over writing "history" with modern takes, and values thing isn't really my thing. Gilgamesh's son Urlugal is over written with a woody Allen like Gilgamesh the second, and a bunch of lgbtq values are inserted with the main character just because, including a lot of snark. It just felt dishonest. Some people may like it, I just thought it was meh okay. Kinda has a lgbtq Mel Brooks History of the World absurdity (minus musicals), while attempting social commentary aspect to it.

Amazing!
I smiled through every second of this. Jacob Tobias is absolutely fabulous as Simi. I only wish this was a full novel length.
