I'm ready for the next one!!

This is my all time favorite series, and this latest novel did not disappoint. Angus King is a joy to listen to as well.

Fantastic as Always

There was a great twist in this installment! I loved every minute of Angus King’s incredible performance and laughed out loud several times.

This book got me through a 12 hour drive from the south side of Wisconsin to Chattanooga, Tennessee. It has been an extremely sad and stressful couple of days but I am so grateful for JD Kirk and his gang of misfits for getting me through it. I laughed out loud quite a few times when it came to Hoon and his mouth. One of the best in the DCI Jack Logan series so far.

Brilliant!

The series gets better and better! JD Kirk integrated different story lines that seamlessly converged (with the exception of one, which I look forward to in the next novel). My ear buds could barely stay in place with the laughs, thrills, twists, and uncertainties. I was tempted to skip ahead to assure myself all our beloved characters would survive, even Hoon, who I equally adore compared with the rest of MIT. If you are devoted to DCI Logan et al., be prepared to fully enjoy the next 11 hours.

Loved every book in the series.

This was my 2nd time through the first 15 books as two new books were released & I wanted to refresh my memories of each character from the ones I'd already enjoyed. It was worth it! Books 16 & 17 did not disappoint me... and I hope this is not the end of the DCI Ryan adventures!

I don’t want those series to end. I’m in awe of the author’s talent and the amazing performance of Angus King. Thank you for this masterpiece. JD Kirk, please don’t stop writing!

JD Kirk Does IT Again!

Absolutely love Kirk’s DCI Logan Universe! When a new book comes out, I have to listen to it all right away. Funny, humbly sentimental, and ever over the top, Jack Logan is the best DCI for my money. Angus King continues to provide voice characterizations the delineate the involved parties with gusto and humor. Excellent book. I cannot get enough.

finally a really good story again. last couple books were just a little too political. this book is just a great story with plenty of grit, twist and humor.
