The world as we once knew it is no longer
People have changed, and we had no choice but to do so.
We live in different settlements, some still live in the cities. Groups of people living together, strangers learning to trust each other and relying on that one person to lead them.
I am not the person I once was, becoming a single parent to six children I had no other choice I had to survive if not for me then for them.
No matter that my heart had been broken in two. They had helped to keep me sane in those early days. Over time men, women and children started to rely on me.
With nowhere to go or anyone else to turn to they seemed to believe that I had all the answers, if only they knew they would have turned to someone else.
Even after all this time I still didn't have a clue. The questions still buried deep inside me needed to know what had happened to my husband and the group of men he had left with that cold winter's morning.
I didn't realize that I was about to find out.
Would I welcome the man he had become back into my life or would I turn him away?
I rule over Specter, I expect nothing but loyalty from my people.
If you still believe in a God you had better beg him for forgiveness because that is something you wouldn't get from me! Losing your wife and children would change any man.
It had killed me, taking me into a darkness I had never returned from.
If I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes I wouldn't have believed a word that had fallen from those lips.
I am no longer the man you once knew and loved.
The man who had once been tender and loving was no more
I now stood in his place.
A man people feared.
