بعد ثلاث سنوات، يرى نيفيل أمامه امرأة غير مصابة في وضح النهار، وتدعى روث ، فيقبض عليهالتبدأ من هناك رحلة العودة !!
"أنا الأسطورة" الرواية التي كُتبت عام 1954 وكان لها الأثر الأكبرفي تطوير أدب الزومبي وتعميم مفهوم نهاية العالم بسبب الأمراض.
