Good Story

Good story with some wicked twists and turns, I enjoyed it. Well worth the credit.

Great book! I just wish it didn't have the cursing. I think Jeffery Deaver is a terrific story teller.

slow start, good plot twists

The long beginning to build characters comes together. Keep going. The final series of plot twists are unexpected, intriguing. Main characters are strong and tie to beginning of book.

It was slow going, I couldn't get into the flow. Trusting the writer, I continued and loved it.

Something new about Colter Shaw

Another great story story from Jeffery Deaver. I feel we saw a new, more personal side of Shaw in this book. Still kept me rapt and narration was excellent, as always.

Once it grabbed my attention, it was a good story.

The set up moved slow for quite a few chapters and did not keep my attention.

Another Great Story

This book was interesting because Colter was basically working on a for-hire basis, instead of for a reward. Not that this isn't something that he's done, but he's usually all about the reward, regardless of the amount. There are two stories in this book, one that kicks off the book, and the other that becomes the focus of the book. Both are intriguing, and interestingly enough, it looks like the opening story will come back in a future Colter Shaw novel.

The characters, the plot, the narration are becoming better with each book. It looks like Deaver is getting a better grip on what makes Shaw click. Yeah, I know he's a fictional character, but he becomes a real person within each story. Deaver is finding out what Shaw is all about and it's making the stories that much better! I have liked every book I have read - and this one is no exception!! This is a great series and I highly recommend it!!

Loved it

Colter Shaw is a unique character with an interesting way of entertaining himself. As always, nothing in this novel is predictable. Including the characters. The twists and turns keep the reader turning pages. Highly recommended.
