Anything from Ellis the the best

The best book on couples therapy - REBT is the most empowering therapy, and is my chosen therapy approach.

It is okay

For me this was okay but not outstanding. The voice performance was nicely done. There isn’t anything wrong with it but someone may need just this set of examples and exercises.

Great. Not completely objective.

Loved this book on so many levels. However, the author needs to examine his irrational belief about abortion in Chapter 7. Does this comment seem random? Good. Now you know what it's like to hear the author's poltical beliefs duct-taped onto Chapter 7. ;) It was ironic that the author made such an illogical jump in a book on pure rationality. He lost some credibility with me at that point. Overall, however, the book is a work of art on thought organization. Definitely worth a read!

Classic REBT

Even though another doctor shares this book with Dr Ellis, you can find pure REBT here.

Great for couples and professionals

Useful book for learning how to use REBT with couples or for couples to use to supplement there sessions with an REBT therapist. My only criticism is that the narrator might have read it a bit more slowly. To cope I would say listen to it a second time.
