What matters in our life...

Marissa and James have a wonderful life! They have kids that are great and growing up, James is a very busy surgeon, and Marissa is a teacher who very much loves her job and kids. So, why does she feel this overwhelming connection to a new teacher's aid Adam? They have so many things to talk about together, and have this connection that her and James never really had.
This story is usually pointed out where the husband is in a spot of cheating with a co-worker. But is it really always just a 'they fell in to bed with each other'? Not usually. There is generally much that may precede that. This story has much, much more than just falling into bed.
There is much more after that.
Told with a very seductive voice, this story will keep you entertained.

Good domestic thriller

Good story about self sabotage and the careless decisions a person can make when they’re left in a vulnerable state. Marissa is stuck, going through the motions of everyday life, simply existing and not living. A successful husband that is called into surgeries at all times of day/night, 2 teenage kids that are busy with their sports, friends and lives & Marissa ends up spending more evenings alone than with her family. When she crosses paths with Adam, he lights a spark in her that she hadn’t felt in years. Is Adam a good catch or does he have sinister motives for perusing her?

Overall, it’s a decent read for fans of domestic thrillers with relationship dramas. I enjoyed the audiobook, although the narrator was a bit monotone at times, it was still a decent performance.

The grass isn't always greener

Marissa has a seemingly perfect life. A job she loves, a successful surgeon, and two beautiful kids. Lately her husband is working all the time and she's feeling neglected. When a student teacher Adam arrives at her school, Marissa can't deny their connection. Marissa vows to keep her vow to her husband and family intact. Things tumble out of control and shock ensues. The ending was totally not expected!! It was a fairly quick listen, but worth it. I always look forward to Winter K. Willis books!!!
