Great story, struggled with the narrator

This is a great story but I would recommend reading this book rather than the audiobook. The narrators inflections make it difficult to follow as there are constant inflections and not breaks that follow the grammatical structure.

Really liked the story. Kept you guessing. But, the narrator reads really fast. Was able to slow it down to 80%.

What an outstanding series

Can't stop listening to sew what will happen next.
All the Homeland Seriesmbooks brought intense murder and mystery to real life issues. The innocence of romance in the face.of fight evil was.tops.
A must read.or lists to series.

Always love this author, great stories and bringing the importance of the belief in Jesus Christ as Savior.
Did not like the narrator.

Drew me in

This sorry drew me in quickly and I felt immediately connected to the characters! I was left guessing and held in suspense. So good. I recommend this entire series!!!

Terrible narration

The book was good but narration was difficult to listen too,Especially the male voices.The main character really made me wonder about the dumb chances she took.

I recommend reading this one.

I always love Susan Sleeman books and have listened to most all of them. I am only in the second chapter of this one and I am struggling to continue. It's not the story; all of Susan's books are great. It's the narrator. She's reminiscent of the overly dramatic narrators of old black and white TV shows ... "stronger than a locomotive, faster than a speeding bullet..." It makes me wonder if the authors actually sign off on the narration, or if they're solely the choice of Audible.

Loved the story

I loved the story as far I could listen and then the ending. BUT Emily Beresford is the worst narrator I have ever listened to and have over 400 books in my audio library and I have listened to many more. Sorry I had to say this but wanted to warn others.

Couldn't listen

I don't like to leave negative reviews but this is the second book I bought with this narrator..... can't rate the story accurately as I couldn't listen to it

Awful narration!

Could not listen to this. Worst narration I have ever heard!!!!!! Will never purchase another book with this person frantically reading pages!
