Great listen!!

This is the first book that gave me "sore ears" because I couldn't stop listening! If you enjoy murder mystery genre, this ia s real winner!

A Fabulous Mystery

This book caught my attention right away, and it held it captive all the way throughout. This was my second book by this author, and I was not disappointed whatsoever. I hate reading mysteries or suspense novels where the secrets are easily figured out, so this one was perfect since I wasn't able to figure it out until it was all revealed.

There are some pretty nasty murders and graphic descriptions in the story, but that's to be expected in a novel of this genre. It didn't take away from the story, but rather, added to its intensity. I highly recommend "Hour Game" - if you like stories from Cornwell or Kellerman or Patterson, you'll like this one.

Great mystery

David Baldacci has yet to disappoint me. Hour Game is just another novel I can most heartedly recommend. Enjoy.

Great story, improbable solution.

I have read (listened to) a couple of books in this series and enjoyed them, and the overall story in Hour Game is captivating. Lots of action, good characters, intriguing mystery, and some deadpan humor. But I want a good mystery to reveal enough clues to give me some hope of guessing at the solution and late in this book I realized that wasn't happening. If you don't mind having no chance to solve this mystery yourself, I recommend this as a rip-roaring story that will keep you listening. And Scott Brick does a fantastic job of narration. But for me it was a great letdown when at the moment of revealing the truth, the protagonist disclosed essential information I could not possibly have guessed at and I'm not convinced he could have either. Thus my 3-star rating.

Great as all Baldacci books are

I am already fan of Baldacci. This was my first experience with audio books. Had a bit of trouble keeping my mind focused on the book at first. But as I listened it did get easier. Just have to learn to keep my focus on what is happening as I listen to the reader dialogue.

I think if there was someone else reading it would have been better, it moved to slow and very little excitement
