WOW! What a hot and emotional story! I didn’t want it to end. Kai Kennicott was absolutely fantastic narrating it! She put so much emotions into every word. I felt like I was watching it in person.

Enjoyed this one!
I always love a good Mythology story and I love Serena Akeroyd's books, so I jumped on a chance to listen review this one. It didn't disappoint! Hades has always been one of my favorites when it comes to Greek myths. Add him in with two other familiar characters we know from the same myths (whose names won't be mentioned because spoilers!) and you get a wicked good time. Cressida was a wonderful lead and I enjoyed her journey in gaining her confidence and sense of self again. And I LOVED her style of revenge. You'll have to read it to find out!

Hot! Hot! Hot!
This was such an imaginative take on the Greek gods of old, bringing them into contemporary times and reimagining their relationships with friends, lovers, and each other. This new world Serena Akeroyd has created is rich, sexy, and fun!
Loved Orpheus (aka Nash), Icarus (aka Christian), and, of course, Hades. Each one was smart, sensual, and passionate. Nash was sensitive, Christian was comforting, and Hades was powerful. Loved Cressida too. She was sweet and sassy. I enjoyed how she accepted her new circumstances but still took her time to get to know each of her guys. And I loved Ella too.
The narration was top-notch. Kai did a great job bringing all the characters to life. So looking forward to The Sun Revolves Around Apollo and continuing this journey into a new era for the Greek gods we love.

Fantastic!
Oh my goodness this book! I absolutely loved it when I read it and the audio just enhances that enjoyment of it. The narrator is fantastic and I love how she brings this world to life. I can't wait to listen to book two.
