Start des Berichtes: 20.03.2082 Die Klimakatastrophe ist da. Als einzig funktionierende Nation hat Indien beschlossen, über Ländergrenzen hinweg, das Überleben der menschlichen Spezies zu sichern. Man fährt dabei zweigleisig: Die Kolonisierung des Mars und mittels einer Deep Space Mission im All nach Hilfe zu suchen. Dieser erste Bericht begleitet Captain Markus Fischer und seine Crew in die Weiten des Kosmos. Yathavan Ansari stand am Fenster des obersten Stockwerkes der Indian Secret Space Organisation. Vom Top des riesigen Gebäudes waren es knapp 150 Meter bis zum Boden. Der unter strengster Geheimhaltung betriebene Komplex stand etwa 100 Kilometer südlich von Bangalore, der Hauptstadt des Bundeslandes Karnataka in Indien. Bei seiner Geburt, mittlerweile 74 Jahre her, hätte er niemals von hier bis zum Indischen Ozean schauen können. Konnte er heute auch nicht, denn es war draußen stockdunkel. Dabei war es gerade mal 14:25 Uhr. Die automatisch abdunkelnden Scheiben seines Büros waren zu 100% auf Durchsicht gestellt. Nur die Blitze des heftigen Gewitters wurden dank lichtschneller Technik nahezu ganz ausgeblendet. Falls mal gutes Wetter war, das war es nicht oft, konnte Yathavan Ansari den Grund seines Auftrags auch sehen (Blickrichtung Süden). Auf der von ihm gesehenen linken Seite schaute er dann auf den Golf von Bengalen und auf der anderen blickte er über das Arabische Meer - beide keine 50 Kilometer von ihm entfernt. Es sind nur sechs Menschen, die die Erde in die Unendlichkeit entlässt, um nach fremden Intelligenzen zu suchen und um Unterstützung zu bitten.
