While Sydney is already off-balance by the bad news, her ex-husband breaks a promise to their daughter that sends her running away and threatens the relationship that she has begun with Mac.

A Hallmark movie that is inspired by this book, led me to listen to it on Audible. The stories are similar, but different. I enjoyed them both very much.

Loved this story and the narrator is phenomenal
Such a sweet story that kept me engaged the whole time. Loved the narrating. Felt like I was there totally experiencing the story.

Loved the Story
Totally related to this story, loved at the end Sydney gained the strength not to fall for her X’s shenanigans. Truly a happy ending. Narrator is so good really brings the story to life.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED
I've seen the Hallmark movie but had to read the book as well. And although the movie was changed a bit, I still loved the book! The book had a lot more details like, Mac having a son and then included the accident Sydney's daughter was in and also Sydney's ex husband was included in book. So I can see how Hallmark couldn't possibly include all of this in the movie. But I really enjoyed both.

Plot is predictable
It's a cute story, but the plot is predictable. No surprising twist and turns. A divorced woman moves to a small town and falls for the most eligible bachelor who wasn't looking for love.
