Please Tee write Jamey' s story.
The romance and mystery were very good..I took 1 point off because Jamey
disappear from story.I understood this was the end of the series.

Wonderful series

Enjoyed reading the series of books. I read them in order so you get a little insight to the other characters. Looking forward to reading the other series. I hope to see a book about Jaime. He is a very mysterious man.

Good story

I enjoyed the story although there were some moments of awkward and/or stilted dialogue. The narrator at times used the same voice for multiple characters making it slightly difficult to determine who was speaking.

Great story, entertaining read

I really enjoyed this story. It pulled me in from beginning to end and was interesting. I loved getting to see what was behind Kade's gruff exterior and why and who he was hung up on. We saw him in previous books of the series and got a little hint here and there but not much. This can be read as a standalone though. It was great getting to know Laia and Rosa through the story and watching Laia and Kade figure things out. There both have secrets and acted accordingly with those and it has created quite the wall between them with some misperceptions as well that they need to clear up. Kade gets a call from Laia when her house is broken into and searched thoroughly. When he shows up it quickly becomes clear that more is going on and looks like the past has come back to haunt them. Her husband was laundering money for the cartel and had just been arrested before he was killed and now it looks like they are back and looking for something that they think Laia has. Kade has to figure things out and keep both Laia and Rosa safe while also dealing with the feelings he still has for Laia. I thought the story was well done and flowed well. The narrator did a good job with the story and bringing it to life. I enjoyed getting to see the other guys from previous books as well, was a bonus and I can't wait to get Jamie's story and see what is going on with him.

A dog & a kid, what could be better

This was a romance with lots of dangerous scenarios, but also happy times & funny times. I really enjoyed how the service dog works as a partner.

A shallow story

I’ve read more of a story line in erotica. The constant sexual soft porn over shadowed ant plot. This one disappointed me. Shallow characters.

Irrational female lead

I’ve loved the other stories in this series but gosh I listened to this one in 2x speed just to get it over with because I got so sick of the irrational thought pattern for the female lead as well as how much of a weak pushover the supposed strong exceptional officer male lead is. Literally would’ve skipped the boom after chapter 3 if it was t cuz I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss the backstory for a future character. The narrator is not my favorite but she’s ok.
