Awesome representation of ADHD

I loved that this represented ADHD in an accurate way. What a blessing this book is for my kiddo who doesn’t see many like himself with his ADHD struggles and blessings as the protagonist in a book. Loved the book! Loved the narrator!

Finding where he fits in

This is a great book recommendation for anyone and I just love how Elliott found where he belongs in his family definitely the best book I’ve ever read

Wonderful story & AMAZING narration!

The main character, Elliott, is very endearing and book is fun, interesting, and relatable. The narration is fantastic. The voice captures the personalities so well. I felt like I was listening to a play. What a wonderful and enjoyable collaboration!

Fun story about a kid who likes cooking.

Loved the baking and cooking aspect of the story. Elliot learned a lot about himself through cooking.

Such a great book!

A thoughtful story about a middle school boy and his struggle with ADHD and friendships and keeping it all straight. His love of cooking saves the day and, in the end, he even learns a bit more about himself. Very touching and relatable.

My favorite book of all times

This has such a good ending and such a moral. This is my favorite book ever everybody should read or listen to it!

I felt seen! SO relatable.

this really feels like an accurate depiction of living with adhd. great character development too! McDunn (and team) really knew what she doing. the characters come alive. this doesn't feel like a fairytale or super predictable storyline. the teacher in me greatly appreciated the easy access to real world connections! I hope to be able to bring her in for an author's visit with my students.
