She seeks the help of the Mayawar Guild—the crown’s Guild of Sorcerers—to investigate the murder of the tiger. However, the Guild is busy investigating a theft of their own. The Amayastra, known to be the most powerful magical weapon in the realm, is stolen from the vaults of the Mayawar Guild the same night when the tiger is found murdered. Kasim, a powerful Mayawar of the Guild, is called upon to assist Rani Sukanya in both the murder investigation and the theft of the weapon. When Kasim stumbles upon a dark secret, it threatens to unravel the very nature of reality and plunge the realm into chaos.

Title is misleading
s/b Murder of his Majesty's Tiger. According to the title this should be about a Tiger. However apparently according to the description, the tiger is murdered (probably early on) so we don't get a chance to follow the Tiger's character over the story unless it's using flashbacks. My cats and I are not interested in the story.

Abrupt ending
Overall an enjoyable story and performance, but the ending feels very unresolved. Not all of the main plot points have been addressed.
