Admitting that she is a shy person who always prefers being in the background, Carol has let God shape and stretch her life in surprising ways. Sunday after Sunday, as she directs The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, she looks out at a sea of faces, brown, black, and white, amazed at how God has used music to woo all kinds of people to himself: lawyers, nurses, doctors, teachers, crack addicts, prostitutes, and homeless people. He's Been Faithful recounts the awe-inspiring stories of those who have been touched by the Lord through the music of The Brooklyn Tabernacle, as well as the story of Carol's own journey as she has sought to lead believers into an encounter with God through worship. Great book of testimonies!

This is a great testament of God's faithfulness. A must read for every worship leader and choir member. Thank you Carol for your ministry to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

Faith Building

I have listened to this book twice. It’s very encouraging. It’s a testament to God’s faithfulness. I have enjoyed listening to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir to this day. It takes true love and dedication to persevere thru hard trials but it was worth it.

Unabridged Please

I wish the unabridged was available. Great book about God's faithfulness. Will buy the book so I can know the whole story. This also made me want to buy the BTC music.

ho-hum

Utterly bland and pleasant. There's a few nice stories, but otherwise - forgettable. I'm grateful this was abridged, because I couldn't imagine any more hours of nothingness,
