Henry Palmer loves living in New Haven, working with his best friend, and pretending to play the field so his dad won’t insist he returns to New York. But after meeting Emily, he’s in trouble—he can’t deny the attraction. Except, she won’t date him, and he can’t get her out of his mind. And then there’s the tiny issue of their age difference.
When Emily’s ex asks for a second chance, and Henry is forced into a fake relationship, will true love prevail? Will it be these complications or Emily’s secret that keeps them apart?
This is the fifth and final book in the New Haven series. It follows the lives of a group of people who are linked through family, friends, and coworkers. Although part of a series, it can be listened to as a standalone. There are no cliffhangers, and a happy ending is guaranteed. (No swearing and kisses only).

Who can Emily trust with Her Secret?
This is the final book in Samantha J. Ball's New Haven series, and I've enjoyed every one of these clean standalone romances. Her Secret has a complex plot, with enough twists and turns to satisfy any romance reader, and a well-developed love triangle that keeps you guessing until the end. I appreciated the faith elements woven through this story of two Christians who are strongly attracted to each other, despite the fact circumstances continue forcing them apart; I love that they pray to God for guidance. Lisa Lynn Sandlin is an outstanding narrator who delivers a range of emotions in her reading. I highly recommend this book and series!
