Fate Is a Sadistic Bitch that Feeds on Torment!
How could fate be good, at all, to match Cali to such self centered jerks? Half way through and I don't know why she puts up with them.

Decent storyline and multiple pov. Her mates are just plain awful tho…seriously just no. She’s had a dark life and she’s got 💩 for mates. The narration is that awful AI but at least it’s a free listen 🤷♀️

Needs a REAL narrator
The AI narrator leaves much to be desired. It kind of ruins the story. Needs better inflection.

I don't even know how to describe this.
This book goes nowhere. The FMC has a mysterious but tragic past you don't learn anything about, she is a supernatural but we have now idea how or why, her family sold her but we aren't told why or even what she was sold into. We don't even find out what abuse she suffered. She is weak willed and easily controlled, and when confronted she cries and falls apart. If you can believe it 1 of the 3 MC's are worse. He is abusive and abused and knows it but won't change it, he is weak willed, easily controlled, and hurts people just to cause pain.
This is not a romance as there is no dating, 2 kisses, and the characters don't like or respect each other.

Story is decent, but voice narration is terrible.
Do not like the auto voice narration. The inflection or tone is off, some words are pronounced wrong depending on the context, there’s emphasis in the wrong places for words and sentences, too long or too short a pause between words or sentences. It’s very distracting and definitely detracts from enjoying the story. Even had the word us spoken as U.S. I was very disappointed.
