The nation of Trylia believes that the gift, a force that can alter the world through the intent of the person who wields it, is a myth. The stuff of children’s tales, brought to life only in the imagination.

Not your average adventure
This book was pirates, a damsel in distress, a girl finding her way in a rough world, but it was so much better than just all that! I highly recommend!

Her latent charm
Dana C. Brentson wrote a great book. Heather Daniel did an amazing job on the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, and amusing. It’s a fantasy. Magic is a gift in this world but for those who have magic it’s more of a curse. Lila can’t control her magic and everyone is after her. Will her friends and her survive in the world? Can she control her magic?
